We have created a new page called "Inside Show" where we will present videos from Coach Show as well as provide plays from the USA Basketball playbook. We very much appreciate Coach Show's support for True 2 Hoops and look forward to bringing you lots of great insights from one of America's most proficient teachers of the game.
Here's just a little background on Coach Showalter. He is a 10-time USA Basketball gold medalist head coach and was hired by the USA Basketball Youth Division as the Director of Coach Development in May 2016. Don was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Men’s College Basketball in 2020 and was the 2018 USA Basketball Co-Developmental Coach of the Year.
He has coached more than 50 NBA players including all stars Brad Beal, Jayson Tatum and 4 of the top 5 2021 draft picks - which includes Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs, Jalen Green, and Scottie Barnes. Don has coached McDonald’s High School All-America teams as well as Jordan Brand Classic All-Star teams. He has been a coach at the Nike Skills Academy and LeBron Academy and has also spoken at basketball clinics around the world.
